You’ll work with someone who knows how to make REMARKABLE comebacks

Hi there - I’m Paula Franetti, MS, CHC, CPT. I have over 30 years of experience as a rehab specialist, exercise physiologist, health coach, and personal trainer, and use this knowledge to help my clients excel in reaching their recovery goals.

In addition to my health and fitness background, I also am a health crisis survivor. Shortly after I turned 60 yrs old, I was in a horrific car accident that nearly crippled me for life.

I have firsthand experience with life-saving emergency surgeries as well as elective surgeries and have fully recovered each time to the active lifestyle I love.

Using my die-hard positive attitude and the knowledge I’ve gained in orthotics and prosthetics, cardiac rehabilitation, and health and fitness coaching, I know how to troubleshoot and find solutions that work for any goal a person may have.

I can help you find the inner strength and solutions not to give up until you reach your highest recovery potential.

Common Questions

  • Yes. People graduate from PT once they reach a certain range of motion or level of function. However, this does not mean they are fully healed or healthy again. Completing the healing process may take up to a year and getting fit again needs to be done methodically and progressively. Working with an experienced fitness professional like me will ensure you work within safe parameters so that you make lasting progress.

  • Surgeons today are really focused on making sure patients get good surgical results. But good surgical results do not necessarily mean you’ll start enjoying the lifestyle you want. It means your broken body part will function better. It’s YOUR responsibility to reach the lifestyle outcomes you want, NOT your surgeon’s. Providing realistic lifestyle goals and the determination to achieve them is what I deliver that sets me apart from your surgeon’s preparation.

  • No, not really. All you have to do is choose a way (or a few) that is most convenient for us to communicate. This could be at your home, face-to-face on a computer screen, via Facetime, or by telephone and/or texting. I try to make it easy-peasy to connect in the ways you feel most comfortable.

  • Your PT is a skilled health professional that knows specific rehabilitative exercises to specifically address your injury or surgery. What I add is different yet complementary to the medical treatment plan they provide. I help you understand the WHYs of what the exercises are meant to do. I help you understand what you should be feeling when doing the exercise. What clarifying questions you could be asking or how to recognize and track the progress you are making. I help you see the whole picture of what your PT is helping your body to recover.

Don't be the one who stops short of the finish line doing it all on your own.
